These satellite races are exclusivly hosted by tracks in The Netherlands, so that each racetrack benefits from the advantages of the Trotting Classics Tour. Ultimately, at least 25 satellite races with increased prize money (at least 100% more than a &#8216;normal race&#8217;) will be held annually.<\/p><ul><li>Participation in satellite races is free of charge (unlike the classic courses where 1% of the starting fee is paid)<\/li><li>If you win in a satellite race, the starting fee for the classic race does NOT have to be paid<\/li><li>Participation is only possible for horses that are registered in the TCT Stake program (and have therefore paid the entry fees)<\/li><li>Satellite races are mainly held in the &#8220;run-up to&#8221; a certain classic race<\/li><li>The Trotting Classics Tour provides a proper Trophy at the winners ceremony<\/li><li>Satellite races provide more exposure to the relevant racetrack and therefore offer opportunities for PR and marketing<\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #51b0c6;\"><strong>Advantages of satellite races for owners.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><ul><li>Participate free of charge in a TCT race on your &#8216;favorite&#8217; racetrack<\/li><li>If you win, no starting fee is due for the classic race in question<\/li><li>Nice build-up race in the run-up towards the relevant TCT classic race<\/li><li>Prize money at least doubled compared to a normal race<\/li><li>If you win, a TCT trophy will be handed to the owner<\/li><\/ul><p>Important:<br \/><em>Participation in Satellite races is not a requirement to participate in the classic races.
